Khadi is beautiful because of its rustic texture, attained by the laborious process of hand spinning and hand weaving. The value of Khadi can be further enhanced by using eco-friendly buttons, fasteners and trims. Plastic and polyester buttons may be replaced with wooden, coconut shell, mother of pearl, shell and metal buttons which are more sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable.
