Sri Sai Samriddhi Nekara Sangha
Sri Sai Samriddhi Nekara Sangha is a certified Khadi Institution (A+ grade), dedicated exclusively to the promotion and production of khadi silk products. Founded in 2018 under the framework of KVIC by Mr. Dhamodhara R, the society operates out of Maruthi Nagara in Urban Bangalore and Sidlaghatta in Chikkaballapur. With roots deeply embedded in a four-generation weaving legacy, the institution combines tradition with technical expertise, guided by Mr. Dhamodhara’s formal textile education from IIST Salem.
Envisioning a transition from small-scale artisanal production to a mid-scale, professionally managed enterprise, the institution is committed to creating sustainable livelihoods. Its 5-year goal is to provide employment opportunities to at least 500 artisans, with current annual turnovers reaching ₹3 crore.
The initiative engages a diverse workforce, drawing weavers from Padmasali, Devanga, Kurenshetty, and Thogata Veera communities, alongside silk reelers from SC/ST and Muslim communities.
